Action:
Lever operated action. If magazine and chamber are both loaded, opening action will result in ejecting shell from chamber and cycling new shell from magazine into the chamber.
Safety:
Rebounding hammer and two additional safeties. The primary safety is located on the top of the bolt. When engaged, the primary safety is designed to block the firing pin making it immobile. The secondary safety is located on the bottom tang and is activated when the lever is closed and the bolt is locked, this blocks the trigger when the action is open and bolt is out of battery preventing firing.
Magazine:
Tubular magazine, right side loading through right side loading port. Shot plug included and comes installed. Shot plug easily removable by unscrewing the magazine cap screw. Simply unscrew plug out of the magazine cap and replace magazine cap and screw.
