To optimize accuracy and to keep the beauty of their receivers intact, Henry Cantilever Scope mounts are mounted to the barrel. This model fits Henry's Golden Boy and accepts Weaver-style detachable 1" top mount rings.
Previous production from pre-2011 (or 1st Generation) Brass Big Boy rifles were drilled and tapped on the barrel under the rear sight, they were NOT drilled/tapped on the receiver. You will need to use BB-CSM for 1st Generation H006 Brass Big Boy series.
In 2011 we began shipping 2nd Generation Brass Big Boy rifles which feature receivers that are drilled and tapped for the scope mount. For 2nd Generation Brass Big Boys you can use either the BB-RSM (Weaver-style) or BB-RSMP (Picatinny-style) rails. 2nd Generation Brass Big Boys start with the following serial numbers:
