Equipped with a heavily jacketed base that acts as a platform for large-diameter mushrooms and a boat-tail design that enhances long-range accuracy, the Ballistic Tip® is a favorable design for reloaders targeting deer-sized game.
Nosler has replaced the familiar lead point of the Spitzer with a tough polycarbonate tip which resists deforming in the magazine and feed ramp of many rifles. Solid Base design produces controlled expansion for excellent mushrooming and penetration.
