The DC "Mondo" was developed after a style of calling that built it's reputation on putting "Mondo" wads of ducks in the woods. This call is reminiscent of the Cut Down Key Hole calls made famous by guides hunting high pressured, public ground ducks in the hardwood bottoms of Arkansas and Louisiana. The Mondo has a very short insert that creates very little back pressure which allows the call to produce that hard, loud, raspy lick of a a mallard hen, as well as that trademark loud squeaky chatter desired by the guides on these public areas. The "DC Mondo" has the range to Break 'em out high, set 'em up down wind and talk 'em into given up... All you have to do is drive it!
