Dance's Sporting Goods has served customers in Colonial Heights, Virginia since 1976. We want everyone to be able to browse our products, read our policies and place an order on this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We are working to make dancessportinggoods.com meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We reviewed the site in October 2026 and are fixing the problems we found, such as missing labels on some buttons and icons, low-contrast text in a few places, and missing page landmarks.
What we have done
- Ran an automated and manual accessibility review of our home, category, product, search, cart, sign-in and information pages.
- Added text labels for icon-only buttons and links, a "Skip to main content" link and clearer page landmarks.
- Raised the contrast of text and badges and made links in body text easier to identify.
- Re-enabled pinch-to-zoom on phones and tablets.
Known limitations
- Product photos and descriptions. Many come from manufacturers and may lack detailed descriptions. If you need information about a product that isn't in the text, contact us and we will gladly describe it.
- Third-party tools. Payment and financing options, email sign-up forms and embedded social media content are provided by other companies and may not meet every guideline.
- Checkout. We are still testing the full checkout flow with assistive technology.

Buying firearms and ammunition
Federal and Virginia law require age and identity checks and, for firearms, transfer through a licensed dealer (FFL). These steps are required of every buyer. If you need help completing them, call or visit the store and we will walk you through it.
