Purchasing a Suppressor starting on 8/17/2026
The following information only pertains to suppressor purchases at Dance's Sporting Goods. Other stores may have a different policy, but below is our policy going forward. This policy is subject to change at any time. Dance's Sporting Goods also reserves the right to halt this process at any time.
In order to buy a suppressor without the Form 4 process:
- Customer MUST join the Gun Owners of America and show us verification of membership. (Click here to join) This ensures the customer is covered by the injunction and is REQUIRED by Dance's Sporting Goods.
- Customer must be lawfully allowed to purchase a suppressor per local, state and Federal laws.
- Customer must complete an ATF Form 4473 and Virginia Form SP-65 along with passing a background check exactly as if the customer is purchasing a firearm.
