Description

Armed with a high ballistic coefficient, polymer tip and unique nose cavity, the all-copper Barnes® LRX™ takes down tough game at both close range and extended distances. We load it with Federal Premium® Gold Medal® primers and specially formulated propellant to our tightest specifications for the ultimate accuracy and terminal performance. Available in a full range of cartridges, including Federal's 7mm Backcountry, which provides magnum performance through compact, shorter-barreled, suppressed hunting rifles.

  • All-copper construction
  • Sleek profile and precision heel radius
  • Grooving decreases fouling and improves accuracy
  • Re-engineered nose cavity provides full expansion and deep penetration at close and extended distances
  • Doppler radar-optimized bullet profile for low drag and top accuracy at extended distance
  • Polymer tip boosts B.C. and helps initiate rapid expansion
  • 168-grain 7mm Backcountry offering
  • Patented, one-piece, high-strength Peak Alloy steel case
  • Outperforms conventional brass-case ammunition
